King Of Kings Virtual Choir Video

Submitting your project:

Upload your video directly from whichever device you used to record yourself.  Use the links below on this webpage on the device you recorded and find your recorded video to upload (make sure it is the right video!).  We are using Google Drive this time.  Large video files can take time to upload, so if it fails, try again!  If it continues to fail, let us know.  If you have slow internet at home, you can drive to the church parking lot and connect wirelessly to faster internet.

You should receive an email saying your video was submitted.  In the past, some videos did not go through when those submitting thought it went through.  Please email me when you submit your videos so we will make sure everyone is on the same page and no one falls through the crack.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When is it due?

What are we singing?

King of Kings. You can use the video above

What do I need to do this?

The easiest option is to use two devices (listen on your computer and record on your phone).  If you have a smartphone, use this to record.  You can listen and record at the same time.  It will need to be steady.  Try using a tripod or placing your phone on a solid surface at about eye level.  (See instructional video on this page.)   https://vimeo.com/460726390

I'd like to, but I don't know how!

We want everyone in music ministry to participate.  If you need technical help, please reach out to us.  Let us know what devices you may have available to use (tablet, computer, phone, etc) and we will work to come up with a solution that works with what you have available!  Let us know if you can help!

I'm not a great singer. What if I sing the wrong note?

When everyone is combined together those little imperfections vanish, just like when you sing together in person.  Wesley can fix the noticeable wrong notes if needed.  He can also feed in the background voices if things sound really off.  We sounded great on our last song, and we will on this one.

What should I wear?

Solid bright colored tops; no sleeveless tops.  Dress nicely and modestly.  Be conscientious of any logos on shirts.  A good rule of thumb is to dress as you were expecting guests, but not going to the prom.

Where should I record?

Pick a visually interesting location that you like.  It does need to be a quiet space without a strong echo.  Do be conscientious of your surroundings.

Where should I record?

We need to clearly see your face and upper torso.   Sit back about 2 feet from your camera/phone.

How do I send you my video?

Choose the appropriate section on top right of this page.  Links are provided on this web page above (“Drag files here” or “select files from your computer/device”) above.  If you recorded with a cell phone, you can upload directly from your phone with these links.  It may take some time to locate your video file.

Can I email it instead?

No.  If you are having difficulty, please contact us.  If it absolutely won’t work for you, we’ll find a solution together, but using the submission link helps us keep everything organized.
