Jesus prayed in John 17:17 “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth”. Designed for individuals an couples in their 30s and 50s, one focus of this small group is a faithful expository study of God’s word in order that God would use the truth of His word to transform us in our faith and in our likeness to Christ through the “sanctifying work of the Spirit” (1 Peter 1:2).

One other focus of this small group is to cultivate among its participants a strong sense of community through intentional fellowship. It is as we come together that we are the body of Christ (Romans 12:4-5). When asked what the most important commandment was, Jesus answered to love God and to love others (Matthew 22:34-40). And this is the focus of the New Life small group.
