BAPTIST FAITH AND MESSAGE 2000
We affirm the current Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention. Click here to download a copy.
We believe the purposes of the church are to worship God according to the teaching of His Word, to practice the New Testament precepts and examples of the Church, to sustain the ordinances, to teach and conform to Scriptural doctrines, and to preach and propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe the ministry priorities of the church are discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, service, and worship.
Under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, Good Hope is Elder-led, Deacon-served,
Committee and Team-operated and Congregationally-approved. Our church is autonomous, with the ability to function independent of any other church or convention. Our church is affiliated with the North Carolina Baptists (www.ncbaptist.org) and the Southern Baptist Convention (www.sbc.net).
