On three Saturdays this October, a small team will be at Phillips Farms in Cary for a simple reason: to talk with people about Jesus.
Phillips Farms is the kind of place families already go. It’s a century farm on Good Hope Church Road, with a market, a fun park, and room to wander on a fall afternoon. People come for pumpkins, food, and a day outside. They also come carrying whatever the week handed them. Some are curious. Some are tired. Some have never heard, in plain words, that God loves them and that Jesus came for them. That is the conversation we want to have.
What we’re doing
We are not setting up a stage. We are not handing out a script and hoping for the best. We are going as ordinary people, ready to start a conversation, listen, and share the good news when someone is willing to hear it. The dates are Saturday, October 3, 10, and 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All ages are welcome. If you have never done this before, you are exactly who this is for. Training materials are ready, and registering early gives you time to look them over before the first Saturday.
Come with us
If you can make one Saturday, or all three, come. If you are nervous, come anyway. Most of us are. You will not be sent out alone, and you do not need a polished testimony. You need a willingness to speak. To register and get the training materials, email George Chen at gschenhope@gmail.com.
Phillips Farms is at 6800 Good Hope Church Road, Cary. We will be there from 11 to 2. Come share Jesus with us.
