April 29: Awana Theme Night: Crazy Sock Night
We’re excited for this Awana theme night! Kids are encouraged to wear their most fun, crazy socks.
May 13: Team Night & Awana Store
This is an exciting night at Awana! Kids are encouraged to come representing their Awana team. It’s also Awana Store night—kids can use the points they’ve collected throughout the year to purchase fun prizes.
May 15: Parents’ Night Out: Sports Edition (6:00–9:00 PM)
We hope your child can join us for a special Parents’ Night Out: Sports Edition! We’ll enjoy an evening of fun with a variety of sports-themed games and activities. Parents’ Night Out is for all kids in kindergarten through 5th grade, and dinner is provided. The registration deadline is Wednesday, May 13.

May 17: Churchwide Campfire Cookout (4:30–7:30 PM)
Come enjoy a relaxed evening of food, fellowship, and fun around the campfire! This event is for the whole family. Hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be provided. Please bring a handheld dessert to share. Cookies, brownies, or handheld pies are perfect. Don’t forget to bring your own chairs, and get ready for a great time together as a church family.
May 20: Awana Awards Night
We hope you can join us as we close our Awana year and celebrate all that our children have accomplished!
May 30–31: Grace Notes Choir Presents Danny and the Shacks
The Grace Notes Children’s Choir of Good Hope Baptist Church is excited to present Danny and the Shacks, a high-energy, biblically inspired musical that brings the story of Daniel and his friends to life in a fresh and engaging way. Join us on Saturday, May 30 at 7:00 PM or Sunday, May 31 at 10:30 AM (during our regular worship service) as our children take the stage with joy, creativity, and a message that still resonates today.
June 3: Water Slide Night (6:30–8:00 PM)
All kids ages 3 years old through 5th grade are invited for a fun evening of slipping and sliding!
July 12: Promotion Sunday
On this exciting day, kids will promote into their new classes at church.
July 23-26: Illumination Station VBS/VBX
We hope you can join us for Illumination Station VBS, July 23–26. VBS is for all kids who will be in K–6th grade for the 2026–2027 school year. This year, we’re also offering a special VBX for 5th and 6th graders.
Thursday–Saturday: 6:00–8:30 PM; Sunday: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM.
