Position Summary:
The Preschool Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, curriculum development, staff management, and spiritual integration of Good Hope preschool. This role ensures a safe, nurturing, and faith-centered environment that promotes early childhood development and aligns with the church’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Administration

  • Provide visionary leadership for the preschool program in alignment with the church’s mission.
  • Manage day-to-day operations including scheduling, budgeting, and enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for students and staff.

    Curriculum & Program Development

  • Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that integrates Christian values and teachings.
  • Ensure the curriculum meets educational standards and supports social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual growth.
  • Organize special events, chapel services, and seasonal programs in collaboration with church staff. 

    Staff Supervision & Development
  • Recruit, train, and supervise preschool teachers and support staff.
  • Conduct regular staff evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture.

    Family & Community Engagement
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to build strong relationships and support student development.
  • Promote the preschool within the church and broader community to encourage enrollment and engagement.
  • Serve as a liaison between the preschool and church leadership.

    Spiritual Leadership
  • Model Christian values and integrate faith-based learning into daily activities.
  • Encourage prayer, Bible stories, and worship experiences appropriate for preschool-aged children.
  • Support families in nurturing their children’s spiritual growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in early childhood education.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Active member of a Christian church with a personal commitment to faith and ministry.

 Part-Time Position-30Hrs Weekly
