Welcome to Good Hope Baptist Church, where we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow spiritually and discover the joy of a life with Christ. We are excited to present Lifeway’s Breaker Rock Beach Vacation Bible School, an unforgettable experience for children grades K-5th Grade. Our VBS offers a safe and engaging environment where children can make new friends, learn about Jesus, and have tons of fun!
Your kids will be challenged as they discover that God’s truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love. Adventure awaits each day as kids explore tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock!

Look Inside Breaker Rock Beach And See What Your Kids Will Be Doing!
Your kids can expect an action-packed weekend full of exciting activities that will help them grow spiritually, make new friends, and have tons of fun. Each day, they will participate in interactive Bible stories, energetic music, creative crafts, and exciting games that reinforce the day’s theme. Children will learn about the importance of trusting in Jesus, following God’s plan, facing their fears with faith, experiencing God’s protection, and the power of prayer.
What To Expect
Kids will be in age-based groups: K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th &6th grade
Each group will rotate through the following:
- Worship Music Rally
- Interactive Bible Learning
- Crafts
- High Energy Games
- Snacks & Lunch
- Recreation
- Workshop
* NOTE: If your child will not or cannot eat the food we will provide, please send them a labeled bag lunch with their name & grade.
WHY VBS?
HOW WILL MY CHILD BENEFIT FROM VBS AT GOOD HOPE?
VBS offers an opportunity for children to learn about God and the teachings of Jesus in a fun and interactive way. Through Bible stories, songs, and games, children can gain a deeper understanding of their faith and develop a personal relationship with Jesus. This spiritual growth can provide a foundation of hope, comfort, and guidance that can last a lifetime.
Your child will have the chance to make new friends and connect with adult volunteers who can serve as positive role models. The sense of community and belonging that comes from participating in VBS can help children develop a sense of self-worth and confidence. VBS also promotes teamwork and cooperation, which can help children develop valuable social and life skills.
Adults who attend VBS have overwhelmingly positive memories of the experience. 69% of American parents will encourage their child to participate in a VBS event at a church they don’t attend if invited by one of their friends. This years VBS is fun filled weekend packed with intense discipleship, the gospel being shared daily, and 7 months of ministry in just one weekend! So.. yeah.. IT’S WORTH IT!
